How do I know what type of a genetic test to order for my patient?
You may delegate this delicate work to GeneOriginS genetic counselors. After our team collected the medical information needed during the counseling session, appropriate genetic testing will be selected.
How does GeneOriginS genetic testing work?
Genetic counseling is considered MEDICALLY NECESSARY for many rare genetic testings. During a consultation, we’ll ask about individuals’ medical and family history. Considering several factors including suspected genetic condition(s), our team select different types of tests to analyze changes in genes, chromosomes, or proteins.
Individual’s sample will be then collected and sent to us for testing.
A post-test counseling session will be arranged with respective provider(s), walking them through test result.
Do your counselors speak Arabic?
Yes! Our medical geneticists are fluent in both Arabic & English.
Does GeneOriginS offer online genetic counseling?
Yes! In fact, our telegenetic counseling & testing is more convenient than traditional in-person service delivery due to reduced travel times and wait times for patients.
